HL Deb 23 February 1981 vol 417 c967WA
Lord Avebury

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What was the reason for segregating each of the men in Albany, Dartmoor, Parkhurst and Wakefield prisons who in 1980 were segregated for more than 100 days on any occasion, giving in each case the reason why the Secretary of State or a member of the Board of Visitors approved renewal of the segregation beyond a period of a month; and whether any of the prisoners made representations to the Governor, the Board of Visitors or the Secretary of State about his segregation and the outcome.

Lord Belstead

The information requested is not held centrally. I will write to the noble Lord.
