§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment (Lord Bellwin)No specific provision is made for the general duty imposed by Section 71 of the 1976 Act in calculating the rate support grant. Local authorities are expected to have regard to their responsibilities under the Act in carrying out the whole range of their activities.
