asked Her Majesty's Government:
What is the approximate average cost, per pair, of spectacle frames supplied under the National Health Service, and of lenses supplied with them.

The current estimated average costs in the General Ophthalmic Services are £2.60 per adult frame and £7.60 per pair of lenses, including those supplied with new, private or reglazed frames.
