§ Mr. Marlowasked the Paymaster General if he will bring to the attention of the broadcasting authorities the existence of the taxes and prices index as a proper measurement of the underlying rate of inflation, unaffected by the method of raising tax revenue.
§ Mr. MaudeThe broadcasting authorities were fully informed of the nature and purpose of the tax and price index when it was first published. Each month the index is sent, with explanatory notes, to a wide range of broadcasters.
