HL Deb 15 November 1979 vol 402 c1483WA
Lord AVEBURY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether arrangements exist to identify among applicants in the entry clearance queue at the British High Commission in Dacca, Bangladesh, those wives who are patrial, and to ensure that they are promptly granted certificates of patriality.

Lord CARRINGTON

All applicants who appear from their applications for entry clearance to have an evident claim to patriality are given a priority interview appointment.
