§ Mr. John MooreMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment is responsible for the heating 817W arrangements in buildings occupied by Government Departments. Close attention is paid to the efficiency of heating systems and to other aspects of energy conservation in the buildings under his control. The, Department of Energy buildings in Leicester and Glasgow have gas-fired systems and the Department's headquarters building in London has oil-fired heating. The responsibility for obtaining supplies of oil for the headquarters system rests with the landlord of the building.
