§ The Solicitor-GeneralMy noble Friend is not aware of any general delay in the hearing of appeals due to non-availability of transcripts of trial proceedings. A special unit in his Department is responsible for liaison with court reporting firms, and for monitoring the production of transcripts. Particularly urgent cases are always given special attention.
