§ Mr. MeacherUnited Kingdom imports of cotton yarn from Turkey are covered by assurances which the EEC has secured from representatives of the Turkish industry about the level of their exports of a number of textile products to Community markets. There will be limits both on exports to the Community as a whole and to individual member States. The European Commission is commited to ensuring that these limits are adhered to.
