HC Deb 22 July 1976 vol 915 c589W
Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied with the way in which Knowsley Metropolitan Council is implementing the National Assistance Act 1946 and the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970.

Mr. Alfred Morris

I am in touch with the council but regret that, at this stage, I have nothing to add to the reply that I gave to my hon. Friend on 28th May.—[Vol. 912, c.494–5.]

I shall write to my hon. Friend as soon as I have further information.
