HL Deb 29 January 1976 vol 367 cc1220-2WA
Baroness MASHAM of ILTON

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will encourage Community Health Councils to make known that genuine worries about possible non-accidental injuries to children may be communicated to them by members of the public.

Lord WELLS-PESTELL

We are doubtful about any general publicity for this purpose. We feel confident that if such anxieties were made known to Community Health Councils they would be passed on as soon as possible, but we would prefer that they should be communicated direct to the authorities concerned so as to avoid delay.
