§ 47. Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will publish a list of all schools and colleges which do not provide the facilities for disabled students which are described in Section 8 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970.
§ Mr. ArmstrongMy Department does not collect this information, nor would it be feasible to do so. It is for local education authorities or other bodies responsible to decide what provision is practicable and reasonable to make in the buildings which they maintain, and I am satisfied that they have a proper regard for their responsibilities in this matter.
