Mr. loan Evansasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish statistics of the services given by local authorities in the year ending 31st March 1974 under Section 2 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 and Section 45 of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968; what increase in the level of services he expects to be achieved in the current year; and if he will make a statement.

The provision of services under these Acts is the responsibility of the local authorities and I am confident that they 349W will do everything within their power to continue to develop them within the level of available resources.
