HC Deb 22 July 1974 vol 877 c313W
37. Mr. Edwin Wainwright

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what is the weight of the wrapped portions of a brand of tobacco, the name of which has been supplied to her, now being sold at the recommended price of 15p each; and what has been the weight of such tobacco sold for the same price during each of the past two years.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

Reductions in weight, like price increases, are subject to the rules of the Price Code. If my hon. Friend considers that there has been any breach of the code, he should give details to the Price Commission.
