asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will state the number of retirement pensioners in Scotland, Wales and in the eight English regions; if she will express each figure as a percentage of the total population in the two countries and the eight regions; and if she will express the figures for each of the two countries and the eight regions as a percentage relative to the average for Great Britain.
