§ Mr. Michael Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what representations she has received to reterm the existing paragraph 34 of the Review of the Price Code, Consultative Document, Command Paper No. 5779, as an alternative option to the proposed paragraph 34; and whether she has as yet made any decision, or whether the matter is still open for discussion.
§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsI have received representations to this effect from the CBI and from many organisations and firms. The period for consultation on Cmnd. 5779 ended on 27th November. My decision will be reflected in the order containing the new Price Code, which I shall shortly lay before the House.
