§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will keep a resettlement camp open for the purpose of accommodating people refused admission to the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. LaneNo. The use of a resettlement centre for this purpose would present problems of adaptation, security and staffing; and it would not be right to provide more special accommodation, in that or any other way, unless it was clear that there was likely to be a continuing need for it.
