§ Mr. McElhoneasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the names of the persons he has appointed to the Transport Users' Consultative Committee, Gas Consultative Council and Electricity Consultative Council who have experience of work among, and the special needs, of disabled persons as in Section 14 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellAppointments to the Transport Users' Consultative Committee for Scotland and the Scottish Gas Consumers Council are matters for my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for the Environment and Trade and Industry respectively. No members have been appointed to the two Scottish electricity consultative councils specifically in terms of Section 14 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970; but both councils have members with experience of work among, and the special needs of, disabled persons.
