§ Mr. McMasterasked the Secretary or State for Northern Ireland to what extent those areas now known as no-go areas were policed, as compared with other 195W similar urban districts in Northern Ireland in terms of the numbers and frequency of police patrols and the numbers of writs and police summonses properly served in any given period over which records are kept in the years between 1946 and 1970, on the one hand, and between 1969 and 1972, on the other.
§ Mr. David HowellPolice patrols were carried out and writs and summonses served in all areas of Northern Ireland between 1946 and July, 1971. Detailed information as to frequencies and numbers is not available. As to the situation since July, 1971, I refer my hon. Friend to the replies given to him on 20th April, 1972, and to my hon.
