§ LORD ABERDAREInformation is not available for 1967/68. Net expenditure by local health authorities in England was as follows: 1968/69, £337,000; 1969/70, £490,000; 1970/71, £797,000.
As to Government expenditure, the elements from Government funds on rate support grant, the pharmaceutical service and the hospital service that relate to family planning services are not separately identifiable. Central Government grants to voluntary bodies were: 1968/69,—;1969/70,—;1970/71, £20,000.
Government specific grants to local authorities in England related to Family Planning (which have not been deducted from the expenditure figures above) were: 1968/69,—;1969/70, £6,250; 1970/71, £8,640.
