§ Mr. Proudfootasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will seek to ensure that any headquarters offices of the European Economic Community in the United Kingdom are sited within the intermediate areas to the east of Manchester airport and within easy access of the M62.
§ Mr. RipponThe siting of the offices of Community institutions is a matter for agreement between the member states, but we should in appropriate cases be glad to consider locations anywhere in this country.
