§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he will now take whatever action may be necessary to ensure an increase in the wages and salaries of all staff and empolyees coming within his ministerial control restrospective to 1st January, 1972.
§ Mr. RipponThere are standing arrangements whereby the salaries and wages of members of the Duchy staff—who, incidentally, are not civil servants—are regularly reviewed.
