§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services why he did not reply to the request of the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East, for an inquiry into the death of a baby after being taken to the Royal Hospital, Wolverhampton, in his letter dated 13th January, which was a reply to a letter sent to him on 27th October, and which was also about the lack of medical cover in the casualty department at the Royal Hospital.
§ Mr. AlisonWhen I replied to the hon. Member's earlier letter on 13th January I had not yet seen her further letter of 11th January to my right hon. Friend which had arrived on the previous day. I will reply to her further letter as soon as my inquiries are complete.
