HC Deb 04 December 1972 vol 847 c320W
Mr. Donald Stewart

asked the Prime Minister if he will make it the practice of his administration that Ministers and civil servants who have been involved in dealings with the oil industry on the terms of licences, royalties or the basis of future exploration are prohibited from taking up appointments in the oil industry or related industries within 10 years of leaving their offices.

The Prime Minister

As I informed the House on 13th July, I am considering whether there are any grounds for changing the existing practice in matters of this sort.—[Vol. 840, c.423.]
