§ Mrs. ThatcherInformation has been sought from local education authorities on children with defects of both sight and hearing, and autistic children, and on the provision for them. In the first group, 438 children have been reported, and the adequacy of the arrangements for their education is under review. A number of authorities have not yet sent returns about autistic children.
