HC Deb 17 March 1971 vol 813 cc339-40W
68. Mr. Weitzman

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment in what planning appeals in connection with buildings or premises open to the public provision has been made for the needs of members of the public visiting the buildings or premises who were disabled, or for the provision of sanitary conveniences for such persons; and whether he will give details.

Mr. Graham Page

The Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act, 1970, requires suitable provision to be made as far as it would be reasonable and practicable to do so. I have no information about any planning appeals where these matters were at issue.
