§ Mr. Goldingasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what progress has been made towards the implementation of Section 8 (1) of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act, 1970, providing for access to, and facilities at, university and school buildings, for the disabled.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeGuidance on the Act has been given in a departmental circular, a copy of which I am sending the hon. Member. My right hon. Friend has no doubt that those responsible for providing the buildings covered by Section 8 will do their best to meet the needs of disabled users.
