§ Mr. PeytonNo legal sanctions or penalties are attached to any specific section of the Highway Code but under Section 74 of the Road Traffic Act 1960 failure to observe a provision of the Code may in legal proceedings be relied upon to establish or to negative any liability of the parties concerned.
