§ Mr. Tudor Watkinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a further statement about his policy in connection with agricultural tied cottages.
§ Mr. Cledwyn Hughes:The effect of the amendment made to Clause 99 of the Agriculture Bill on 5th May would be to weaken the protection given by Clause 99 to occupants of agricultural tied cottages. The Government propose on Commons' consideration of Lords' amendments to move a further amendment restoring that protection in its original form.
