HC Deb 09 March 1970 vol 797 c213W
48. Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is aware of the decline in the number of physiotherapists in the Hull A Group Hospital area; what steps are being taken to reverse the decline; and if he will make a statement.

Dr. John Dunwoody

In addition to the steps referred to in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Kingston upon Hull, West (Mr. James Johnson) on 19th December, the hospital management committee is continuing to advertise for physiotherapists and has approached personally all known physiotherapists in the area. It is too early to assess the results of this.—[Vol. 793, c.480.]
