§ Mr. Dellasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what action is he taking to assist the redeployment of men made redundant as a result of the decision of the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board to close the Mersey Cattle Wharf, Birkenhead, on 31st December, 1970.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithWhen the dates of termination are made known, the 34 employees concerned will be invited by our local employment staff to discuss the alternative employment opportunities which are available at the time. Everything possible will be done to help them.
