§ 56. Mr. Peter Archerasked the Minister of Transport whether he will now introduce an annual test for commercial vehicles, including a requirement relating to noise levels.
Mr. Bob BrownAnnual tests of mechanical condition are already required for all commercial vehicles over three years old, and by April, 1971 will be required after one year, and thereafter annually, for the heavier vehicles. We are considering the possibility of introducing a noise check into the heavy goods vehicle test.
