§ Mr. MasonOver the coming months I shall be examining the capital development programmes of the electricity boards 173W against the Electricity Council's latest forecasts of demand and other relevant considerations. As stated in "The Task Ahead", investment in new generating capacity in the period to 1972 will be below the level of recent years as a result of the slower rate of growth of electricity demand forecast.
