§ Mr. Russell Kerrasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity why she has appointed an executive member of the Foremen and Staff Mutual Benefit Society to be one of her official manpower advisers in view of the recommendations of the Donovan Report regarding the Foremen and Staff Mutual Benefit Society in making this appointment; and whether she will reconsider this matter.
§ Mrs. CastleIt is not intended to appoint to my Manpower and Productivity Service a member of the Executive of the Foremen and Staff Mutual Benefit Society. I understand that the individual my hon. Friend may have in mind does not support the less desirable tenets of the Society and has resigned from its Executive Council.
