HC Deb 12 February 1969 vol 777 c339W
Mr. Brian Parkyn

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many persons receive a 60 per cent. disability pension resulting from wounding in the First World War.

Mr. Swingler

On 31st December, 1968, 6,560 persons in all were in receipt of a 60 per cent. disability pension for disablement caused by service in the First World War. I cannot say how many of these disablements are related to wounds and how many to other causes without disproportionate expense.
