HL Deb 09 December 1969 vol 306 cc543-4WA
LORD AMULREE

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What arrangements they have made for displaying to the House the design for the new Government office building to go on the Bridge Street/Richmond Terrace site.

BARONESS LLEWELYN-DAVIES OF HASTOE

Arrangements have been made for a model and drawings to be displayed in the Upper Waiting Room from December 9 to 12 inclusive, so that noble Lords can see what is proposed. The design has been developed in consultation with the planning authorities and the Royal Fine Art Commission. The opportunity has also been taken of putting on display proposals for dealing with traffic in the Parliament Square area. A leaflet giving the background is available in the Printed Paper Office.
