§ Mr. OramYes. In the six months since the Director took up his appointment attention has been concentrated on the recruitment of staff, and on the initiation of teaching and research in conjunction with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The Director has attended several conferences and visited a number of countries in Asia, Africa and the Caribbean to establish more precisely how our help can best be made available.
