§ Mr. Danceasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food whether in 146W drafting legislation on compulsory purchase procedures he will include provision for paying better compensation to owner and tenant farmers dispossessed as a result of overspill development.
Mr. PearlTenant farmers who have to leave their land because of overspill or any other kind of development would receive special payments under the provisions of Part II of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill. Owners who may be dispossessed of their land are able to realise a price which fairly reflects the development value.
