§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what instructions he has given to the Metropolitan Police concerning the rules to be observed regarding the carrying of firearms by police officers and their use in an emergency.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsAlthough I do not think that any fundamental change is needed in the existing instructions, the Commissioner of Police, at my request, is reviewing these instructions, and I hope to have his report shortly.
