§ 97. Mr. Archerasked the Minister of Technology what investigations he has made into the motor industry, with a view to improving the design, manufacture and sales of vehicles for export.
§ Mr. BennA survey of export problems and prospects for the motor industry was carried out by my Department last summer, in conjunction with the Board of Trade and the industry. The report is confidential; it has been considered by the National Advisory Council for the Motor Manufacturing Industry, of which I am Chairman, and the action points are being followed up.
