HL Deb 05 May 1966 vol 274 c548WA
LORD FORBES

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will take steps to ensure that the number of public telephones at Dyce Airport, the Airport for Aberdeen, is increased from one without delay, owing to the greatly increased number of passengers now using the airport.

LORD SORENSEN

My right honourable friend the Postmaster General is keeping the provision of an additional public telephone at Dyce Airport under review. Although the existing telephone is in frequent use I understand that some of the business at present being transacted on it will shortly be diverted to a private telephone which is being installed in the vicinity. If after this change there is still a need for additional public telephone facilities at the Airport, arrangements will be made to provide them.

House adjourned at twenty-five minutes past eight o'clock.
