HC Deb 26 April 1965 vol 711 cc17-8W
Mr. Lubbock

asked the Minister of Health how many cases of arterial thrombotic or thrombo-embolic episodes in women taking oral contraceptives have been reported to the Committee on Safety of Drugs.

Mr. K. Robinson

The Committee have informed me that there is no evidence of any relationship between the use of oral contraceptives and the thrombotic episodes that have been reported to them. Consequently they cannot give me any figure to which significance can be attached in regard to the taking of oral contraceptives by the women concerned.

tributions where these are known, and the National Centres at which they will be presented.
