§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Minister of Health if he will give estimates of the average number of sub-consultant posts in obstetrics and the number of abnormal births in 1963, 1964 and 1965.

StrossThere were 401 posts in the grades of senior hospital medical officer (without allowance), senior registrar, registrar and junior hospital medical officer in obstetrics at 30th September, 1963. I regret that no useful estimates of the number of abnormal births in 1963, 1964 and 1965 can be given.
