§ Mr. ProfumoThe establishment of a Co-operative Bank in Uganda is not contemplated at present. Credit is provided for co-operative societies and individuals through the Uganda Credit and Savings Bank and the African Loans Fund, as well as, to a small extent, to members of primary societies through their respective Co-operative Marketing Unions.
