§ Mr. StokesMy Department leased these shops in September, 1948, to accommodate an office of the Ministry of National Insurance, who did not occupy them owing to reductions in local staff. In order to release requisitioned premises, various re-arrangements in Wembley are in hand and the shops will be occupied by the Customs and Excise Department as soon as adaptation work is completed. The amount of the agreed rent is confidential information which I am not at liberty to disclose.
