Mr. Stokesasked the Economic Secretary to the Treasury how many contracts for part-time services of professional men are still being continued by any Department due to the fact that peace has not yet been declared and the country therefore still in a state of semi-emergency; and how much money annually is involved.
§ Mr. JayI know of no such cases. If my hon. Friend has any information perhaps he will be good enough to take the matter up with the Department concerned.
