HC Deb 09 December 1946 vol 431 cc184-5W
Sir W. Darling

asked the Secretary of State for War what further arrangements he is making, since his reply to a Question on 8th October in the last Session of Parliament, for the housing of the Army Record Office and Pay Corps Records, approximately 1,000 officers, in Edinburgh other than Dalmeny Street Hall.

Mr. Bellenger

The question whether the Army Pay Office should remain permanently in the City and whether part of the Record Office should remain there for the present depends on the availability of suitable accommodation, for which search is being made.
