§ Brigadier-General Clifton Brownasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that in many rural districts, like Wokingham, housing plans are held up owing to uncertainty as to his instructions on drainage matters; and whether he will issue more definite instructions to rural districts as to sewage disposal works or cesspools to enable them to proceed with their housing plans.
§ Mr. WillinkI am not aware that in general housing plans in rural districts are being held up owing to uncertainty as to the application of the guidance given in Housing Manual, 1944, but I am looking into the particular difficulty which my hon. and gallant Friend has brought to my notice.
