§ Mr. BellengerDuring the war period munitions have been made available to the Turkish Government under the terms of the Armaments Credit; 1938, and the Armaments Credit, 1939, to a total value of £34 millions. In addition, between 1st April, 1943, and 15th June, 1945, certain war materials to a value of approximately £26 millions were supplied to the Turkish Government on Mutual Aid terms in the general interests of the United Nations. The Turkish Government has been notified that with effect from 16th June, 1945, munitions will be supplied only on repayment.
