§ Sir A. SinclairAirmen who, on discharge or release, are entitled to receive civilian clothing, have the choice of being issued with a civilian suit and cap, or of drawing a cash allowance. Issues in kind are made from Service stocks provided the airman is of stock size and sufficient time is available. In the comparatively few cases where this cannot be none the airman is provided with a suit and cap at public expense from a local outfitter. If the cash allowance is drawn the airman is at liberty to spend it where he chooses.
