HC Deb 10 June 1943 vol 390 c868W
Captain Plugge

asked the Minister of Aircraft Production what use is being made of the experience of Mr. Arthur Gouge, who designed the Sunderland flying boat?

Sir S. Cripps

Mr. Gouge is at present unable to undertake any work as he is resting under orders from his doctor. I have put before Mr. Gouge certain suggestions as to his future employment to which I hope to have his answer as soon as he is able to return to active work.
